New appreciations (1.2)

Patience [n. 'pA-sh&n(t)s] is defined, perhaps less than helpfully, as: 'the capacity, habit, or fact of being patient'. (To be fair, on Merriam-Webster's website the word 'patient' is a hyperlink.) I now have a much more helpful definition; if one of you could be so kind as to e-mail this post to m-w.com we'd be very obliged.
